It’s all about the beer…

Among the many attractions, the “liquid gold” is probably the most important thing at the Oktoberfest. As usual, over 6 million liters of beer will be drunk this year.

The Music of the Oktoberfest

The guarantee for great fun in the festival tents is not just the beer. The music is quite important, too. It’s always very exciting to find out, which song will emerge as the number one Oktoberfest hit of the year. Usually it’s a danceable modern chart hit that gets its very own Oktoberfest-sound by the brass bands in the tent. But there are also quite a few classics, which make the guests in the tent get up and dance.

Every tent has its own band or bands and there is no rule what songs they have to play.
